Dr. Monica C. Goldman is one of New England’s leading experts on the clinical uses of medication. As an Information Specialist at the Hartford Hospital Drug Information Center, Dr. Goldman has provided information regarding medication therapy to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and risk management attorneys at Hartford Hospital, throughout the state of Connecticut and nationwide.

Dr. Goldman is in a unique position as the sole Drug Information Specialist in the greater Hartford area. As such she can provide expert opinion consultation services and serve as an expert witness in cases of medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death secondary to medication usage.

Clinical Experience
Dr. Goldman has been a clinical pharmacist at Hartford Hospital for 14 years. In this capacity she has participated in analysis of patient’s medication regimens, supervised anticoagulation therapy, evaluated new medications prior to their use at the hospital, and provided drug information and educational services to physicians, pharmacists, and nurses.
Dr. Goldman’s areas of clinical expertise have included:
